Support Our Schools

Community schools are essential to us in the San Lorenzo Valley. That is why we have created the “Support our Schools” or S.O.S. program. It’s a straightforward way to support our children’s education. Purchase a gift card, designate that gift card to the participating school of your choice. Bi-annually Wild Roots Market will send 5% proceeds of gift card sales to the delegated schools. Purchase gift cards to buy groceries, gift a card to friends, family, a local charity, or your favorite teacher. The more you shop, the more we can share with the schools.

COMMUNITY ROOTS DAY

Wild Roots Market holds a Community Roots Day once a quarter per store. The beneficiaries receive 5% of total gross sales for the store connected to their cause. We urge schools and not-for-profits working to improve San Lorenzo Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains to apply.

FOR CHANGE

Our Round-Up for Change is another way we are supporting our local community. This simple giving opportunity empowers our customers to round up their grocery bill to the nearest dollar or more if they choose and donate the difference to our preferred non-profit beneficiary for the entire month.

SENIOR DISCOUNT CARD

Are you 65-years-old or better? If so, you are eligible for a senior discount card which offers a 10% discount on your entire purchase. To apply, ask any cashier for an application at either store. Once you complete the application, please return it to a cashier and show them your I.D. Then you’ll get an official discount card that you can use to shop anytime to earn 10% off your purchase.
